Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and validate data migration solutions across platforms and systems
• Assess the compatibility between source data and target systems; define data cleansing, transformation, and mapping strategies
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the migration process
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and anomalies during the migration
• Prepare technical documentation and assist users in completing data acceptance
Technical Requirements:
• Proficient in SQL and at least one ETL tool (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS)
• Familiar with mainstream databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB) and data structures
• Skilled in data modeling, cleansing, and transformation techniques (e.g., regular expressions, scripting)
• Knowledgeable about cloud migration services (e.g., AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory)
• Able to automate migration workflows via scripting (Python, Shell, etc.)
• Familiar with the full data migration lifecycle (analysis → design → testing → execution → rollback)
• Experienced in advanced migration scenarios such as incremental and zero-downtime cutovers
Experience Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in data migration or integration projects
• Led at least two large-scale, cross-border, cross-system data migration projects (at PB scale)
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., retail, finance, healthcare)
• Excellent English communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with U.S. and India-based teams
