Collaborate with global teams at Siemens Energy as a Supplier Quality Engineer - Forging to ensure suppliers meet and exceed quality standards. Evaluate new suppliers and support product development of forging and casting materials, making a significant impact on maintaining flawless supply chain quality.


How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct supplier capability analysis and assess supplier risk to support the onboarding of new suppliers.
• Lead product and process qualification for suppliers providing forging, casting, and raw materials.
• Implement supplier quality improvement measures to ensure flawless supply chain resiliency.
• Plan and complete supplier quality assurance measures throughout the supplier lifecycle.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures for quality issues.
• Apply risk management methodologies to proactively avoid quality issues at the supply base.
• Contribute to the product development process by providing technical evaluations and supporting design changes.
• Highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement at the supplier level and internally within Siemens Energy.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a quality engineer, manufacturing engineer, or design engineer.
• Practical manufacturing experience with combustion parts is preferred.
• Working experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering-related major.
• Initiative, committed approach, and strong analytical thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and quality & risk management methodologies.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
• Project management experience is preferred.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We provide zero or low emission power generation and encompass all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. Our team is dedicated to decarbonization through modernization and digitalization of the fleet.
