My client, a Thai-listed food processing and manufacturing company, is now seeking a Plant Manager/Factory Manager to join its team in China.
Duties:
Production Management
• Plan, manage, and control all manufacturing operations of the factory.
• Manage production capacity, output, yield, loss, and downtime.
• Approve daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
Quality & Food Safety Management
• Assume full responsibility for factory-wide compliance with:
o GMP
o HACCP
o Applicable PRC food safety regulations
• Ensure batch-to-batch product consistency.
Formula & Intellectual Property Protection
• Ensure strict control over the use of approved formulas and starter cultures.
• Limit access to formula-related information to authorized personnel only.
Cost & Performance Management
• Control manufacturing costs within the approved budget.
• Analyze and manage:
o Cost per unit
o Raw material usage
o Labor efficiency
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Meat Science, Food Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in food or meat processing manufacturing.
Proven experience as a Factory Manager or Plant Manager.
Experience with fermented meat, cured meat, or sausage production is strongly preferred.
Prior experience working in China or with Chinese manufacturing operations is an advantage.
