Main Job Description:
- To teach Business Studies, Economics and Accounts throughout Malvern College Chengdu (Years 7 – 13) IGCSE, AS and A level
- Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated Business Studies, Economics and Accounts curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
- To be involved with other aspects of school life associated with the subject, such as organising appropriate educational trips and visits
- To assist the HOD with developing Schemes of Work
- To assist the HOD with the department’s development plan and its implementation;
- To play a part in the broader life and running of this international boarding school
- To write reports and enter assessment grades when required
- To offer at least one extra-curricular activity to the students in Malvern College
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master with major of economics, accoungting and business studies;
- A relevant teaching qualification
- A proven ability to bring about improvements in the quality of teaching and learning across a curriculum area that results in improved outcomes for students
- An effective communicator
- Strong working knowledge of the English National Curriculum, specifically A level
- Committed to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- Energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour
- Passionate and ambitious about the success of MCC

In response to the Chinese national policy on education innovation and approved by the Xinjin District Administrative Approval and Education Bureaus, Malvern College Chengdu opened its new campus in September 2020 to provide Early Years, Primary and Secondary education. Malvern College Chengdu has established a reputation in Southwest China as an innovative benchmark bilingual school.Malvern College Chengdu covers an area of approximately 10 hectares(150 Mu), with a total construction area of 90,000 sqm.
