Position Summary
The QPM Manager leads the Quality Project Management team, overseeing the
successful execution of NPI and MP phases for Apple programs. This role ensures all projects meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, while aligning with
customer expectations and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop the QPM team to deliver excellence in quality project execution.
Oversee multiple Apple projects, ensuring all NPI and MP quality activities are planned, tracked, and executed to standard.
Establish and enforce project quality governance, documentation, and review processes.
Serve as the primary quality interface with Apple senior quality and engineering teams.
Drive early engagement in product design to influence quality and manufacturability.
Monitor and report on project quality KPIs, driving issue resolution and risk mitigation.
Mentor QPMs on technical, project management, and customer communication skills.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI/MP quality processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in quality or project management within the consumer electronics industry, including 5+ years of direct Apple project leadership.
Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle NPI and MP introductions across multiple product lines.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
In-depth knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies
(FMEA, DOE, SPC, 8D, etc.).
Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-cultural, and customer-facing environments.
