· Cost and price all apparel enquiries across denim, knits and wovens — accurate, competitive, and returned within 3 working days standard and same day for urgent requests
· Build and maintain factory and supplier relationships — regular factory visits, understanding capacity, new product capability and production status; you are the primary factory-facing contact for Charms
· Lead apparel product development in close collaboration with the internal sales team — understanding what each account needs, proactively developing new styles, fabrics and competitive price points
· Maintain the approved vendor list and supplier records; work with the quality team to ensure factory audits and certifications remain current
· Advise the merchandising team on factory selection for confirmed orders; step in to manage issues when a factory is underperforming
· Monitor market conditions across key export categories; maintain awareness of cost benchmarks across major production regions to ensure our pricing stays competitive
· Attend fabric markets and trade shows; proactively identify new factories and sourcing opportunities
· 8+ years apparel sourcing or export trading experience with a strong denim background — fabrics, washes and factory knowledge
· Experience sourcing for international clients with an understanding of their pricing expectations and quality standards
· An established factory network in Guangdong Province with real working relationships, not just directory knowledge
· Commercially sharp — strong cost instinct, able to find the best price without compromising quality
· Fluent English written and spoken; Mandarin for factory communication
· Reliable and self-directed; comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
· Based in Guangzhou or willing to relocate
· Experience working with clients across multiple international markets and understanding regional competitive differences
· Awareness of cost differentials between major apparel production regions globally
· Trade show and fabric fair experience
· Familiarity with factory social compliance audit requirements
· Background in a trading company or export-focused business rather than purely factory-side
· Secondary category experience in knits or wovens alongside denim
This Role Is Not Right For You If
· You want to own direct client communication — that sits with our sales team
· You prefer desk-based work over being on the ground at factories and markets
· You only want to work in one category and are not open to expanding into knits or wovens
· You are not comfortable with structured processes and system-based record keeping
This is a focused apparel sourcing position and one of the most commercially important seats in the company. You will directly shape our cost competitiveness and product development capability. We are a lean team with a clear growth target — your work will have visible impact from day one.
As the business scales, strong performers will have the opportunity to develop into a senior sourcing leadership role and take on broader operational responsibilities.
