Task description
Charging validation working scope
Typically charging validation is executed under each carline, for each software
release the following tasks needs to be performed:
· Charging validation planning
· Making charging validation plan for each carline based on SW
and carline release timeline.
· Organization and coordination for vehicle resource
· Coordinating with vehicle owner and workshop for vehicle
resource planning and retrofitting vehicle to install testing measurement
equipment. Communicating with relevant counter-part in advance to clarify
testing equipment and different testing requirement.
· Charging function validation
· Performing AC/DC function test
· Reporting and reproducing charging issues
· Field testing planning and implementation
· Investigating CPO and charger variants, define field testing
plan
· Bugfix validation
· Validating bugfix SW
· Special testing
· Coupler derating, big current charging and other charging
testing.
· Testing report finalization and issue tracking
Charging issue management
For development, field and plant charging relevant issues, the following tasks
needs to be performed:
· On-site supporting for trouble-shooting
· Issue reproduce and data logging, issue reporting and
exchange with relevant colleagues
· Analyzing root cause
· Communicating with different counterparts, promote issue
solving
· Defining counter measure
· Issue status checking
Internal customer and external customer coordination and on-site support
Based on the requirements from our internal customers and external customers,
e.g. overall vehicle validation department, powertrain department, homologation
department, charging testing and issue management engineer should provide
feasible support or recommendation to ensure our counter-part’s working can be
promoted properly.
Production Line Support and Issue Solving
Charging testing and issue management engineer should provide necessary support
for production line to ensure vehicle assembly process finish properly. When
charging issue found, charging testing and issue management engineer needs to
be on-site for trouble-shooting, including measurement acquisition, root cause
definition, counter-measurement generation and solve issue with rapidly response.
