Main Responsibilities
BI Developments
Design and optimize data flows using standard extractors, custom function modules, and
AMDP methods
Development and monitoring of process chains (ETL flows)
Creation of reports using Analysis for Office (AfO) in Excel and PowerPoint
Usage of advanced AfO functions and Visual Basic scripting
Development of live data models and stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
General
Active contribution to an agile, Scrum-based development team
Documentation of system architecture, processes, and solutions
Providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support for the Business Intelligence landscape
Participation in the on-duty support for out of business hours (rotation model)
Independent planning and execution of complex and challenging project work-streams
Soft-Skill & Collaboration
Analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into
business-friendly language
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and
within IT
Proactive attitude in gathering requirements, aligning expectations, and facilitating
workshops
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in cross-functional and
multi-cultural teams
Experience and Qualifications
University degree in IT or a comparable field of study
At least 5 years of experience in SAP consulting within the Business Intelligence domain
Profound knowledge in SAP BW (data modelling, LSA++ architecture, HANA Studio/Eclipse,
etc.)
Deep expertise in SAP ABAP for BI and AMDP-based data transformation
