Overview
Join an innovative team in the consumer electronics industry as an RF Simulation Engineer. You will play a pivotal role in driving the design and optimization of RF hardware for advanced connectivity solutions, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, UWB, and 5G-FR1. Your expertise will guide the RF design process from early prototyping to validation and certification, ensuring the performance and reliability of next-generation consumer devices.
Responsibilities
- Lead RF hardware design activities focused on various connectivity protocols including WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, UWB, and 5G-FR1.
- Drive the product design lifecycle from prototyping to final certification, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize RF chain performance by enhancing gain lineup, linearity, sensitivity, and managing interference.
- Conduct RF schematic and layout design reviews, facilitate RF tuning, and simulation for performance optimization.
- Plan and execute comprehensive lab RF validation tests for design validation and performance enhancement.
- Manage factory prototype builds and address issues through thorough RF tuning and layout optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in using RF EM simulation tool.
- 5+ years of experience in RF connectivity design for wireless consumer electronics.
- Proficiency in using RF design tools such as ADS RF Schematic, Ansys HFSS, and Keysight ADS.
- Strong understanding and application of RF concepts: impedance matching, TX/RX lineup, and Smith Charts.
- Proven expertise in RF simulation tools and methods that influence high-performance design decisions.
- Demonstrated experience with RF schematics and front-end modules.
- Experience with a variety of RF equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and communication testers like Litepoint, CMW500, and Anritsu.
- Proficiency in English

- Deep understanding of and experience in optimizing the RF performance of wireless devices in compliance with industry specifications.
