Project Manager – Landscape & Plant Supply We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of landscape and plant supply projects across Gaia Greening’s international and domestic operations. This role involves managing complex logistics, supplier networks, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely, high-quality, and biosecure plant deliveries. You will oversee a small team, coordinate cross-border shipments, and collaborate closely with nurseries, freight agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. This is a high-responsibility position requiring operational leadership, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities. 89 Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Oversight 61 Manage full-cycle project delivery from procurement through final shipment and client handover 61 Develop and maintain project timelines across multiple suppliers and countries 61 Proactively identify risks, manage critical path activities, and resolve delays or compliance issues Team & Stakeholder Management 61 Lead and support a small team, ensuring effective delegation and accountability 61 Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, nurseries, freight forwarders, and logistics providers 61 Provide hands-on leadership during key phases such as plant inspections, packing, and export Logistics Strategy & Supplier Oversight 61 Oversee relationships with nurseries and freight providers, ensuring adherence to packing specs, documentation, and plant health standards 61 Review and approve freight plans, cost breakdowns, and shipping documentation 61 Ensure compliance with customs, quarantine, and international shipping regulations Reporting & Continuous Improvement 61 Prepare progress reports, budget updates, and project timelines for senior management 61 Continuously improve project workflows, documentation, and systems for efficiency 61 Analyze recurring challenges and implement long-term process improvements 89 Skills & Attributes 61 Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage timelines, teams, and multi-party communication 61 Working knowledge of botanical names and familiarity with common landscaping plants 61 Hands-on horticultural knowledge and skills 61 Confident in managing supply chains, freight documentation, and compliance 61 Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a big-picture perspective 61 Decisive under pressure and capable of handling time-sensitive decisions 61 Comfortable working across different cultures and regulatory environments 89 Preferred Background 61 Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, horticulture, landscaping, logistics, or supply chain—ideally in international trade or agriculture 61 Demonstrated experience leading teams or managing cross-functional coordination 61 Familiarity with international freight, export documentation, and biosecurity standards 61 Proficiency in Excel and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Gantt charts, or similar platforms) 61 Bilingual in Mandarin and English (spoken and
