2. Sourcing Analyst / Supplier Research Specialist
Position Summary
This role is responsible for searching new suppliers, analyzing brands, validating factory legitimacy, and preventing fraud or supplier risks. The specialist will provide market intelligence and reliability assessments to ensure Mexico works only with safe and competitive suppliers.
Location: China
Reports to: Purchasing Manager / Director (Mexico)
Languages: Native Mandarin + English or Spanish (required)
Key Responsibilities
1. Search and identify new reliable suppliers
2. Verify supplier reliability through:
Business license and government registration checks
Operating years
Certifications (ISO, FDA, etc.)
Reviews, ratings, and industry reputation
3. Investigate brand credibility, online presence, and consumer feedback.
4. Detect potential fraud or high-risk suppliers (new companies, inconsistent information, suspicious pricing, etc.).
5. Compare pricing, product quality, materials, and production capacity between multiple suppliers.
6. Prepare detailed sourcing reports including:
7. Pros and cons of each supplier
8. Risk level
9. Preliminary quotations
10. Product observations
11. Analyze reputation on Baidu, 1688, Dianping, Weibo, forums, etc.
12. Support coordination for samples, audits, and third-party inspections.
Requirements
1. Location: China, need to travel for factory audit, production etc.
2. Reports to: Purchasing Manager / Director (Mexico)
3. Languages: Native Mandarin + English or Spanish (required)
4. Experience in sourcing, supplier analysis, market research, or due diligence in China.
5. Ability to read and analyze commercial and legal documents in Chinese.
6. Strong knowledge of Chinese e-commerce and business information platforms.
7. Analytical mindset and strong research skills.
8. Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: basic salary, plus bonus. （8000 per month, 13 months salary)
- Benefits: Following all holiday rules and Chinese working insurance in China
Working time: 9:00-18:00 Monday-Friday, lunch time: 12:00-13:00.
