China is the biggest passenger car market for Mercedes-Benz. In Mercedes-Benz R&D China. We strive to provide the best China-fit ADAS/AD products through advanced technologies and Best-in-class experience to our Chinese customers. We are currently looking for ADAS/AD experts who share the same passion and enthusiasm for developing the best China-fit ADAS/AD system.
As the function owner of AD Experience team, you are End-2-End responsible to design and develop the best user experience system of Automated Driving and Parking functions.
You will be working with different Mercedes-Benz domains, like UI/UX design, ADAS and infotainment function owners to create technical solutions, defining the system specifications and ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners.
You will take care about the requirement management, priorities, product quality and schedule as well as status reporting. You will be the communication channel to internal and external development partner in China, as well as our development partners at other Mercedes-Benz development sites all over the world.
Tasks:
Taking end-2-end responsibility for one or more dedicated functions within the AD Experience product team. Writing requirements, user-stories and discuss and finalize these with external or internal development teams. Start and finish the demand process on-time and resolve all blocking issues to enable the functionality. Ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery of all components in the different domains and verify the product, prepare the function for customer release. Being the main contact for all internal and external stakeholder, regularly present status to the management.
Responsible to ensure future competitiveness of the Mercedes-Benz Chinese AD system by creating new product ideas, preparing these ideas, do POCs and present these to management and coworkers.
Collaborate closely with other function owners in and outside of the AD Experience product team to integrate developed deliverables into projects as well as provide technical feedback in discussions on future products and platforms
Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or appropriate graduation)
Very good knowledge in the ADAS driving and parking domain, preferably 3 years work experience in the ADAS driving or parking business with an OEM or internet company being responsible for ADAS components.
Experience as a software developer, preferably in the field of ADAS or Infotainment development is a plus
Very good knowledge in project management, preferred experience in leading complex software development projects with multiple stakeholders
Relevant Linux/Android knowledge and experience
Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus
Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence
Software development quality methodologies such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing and static code analysis
Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analyze, and so on
Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills
Fluency in Chinese & English
