Objective of Job:
- Method and algorithm development, integration and validation with strong focus on trajectory planning, vehicle control and HMI interaction for advanced Parking. (Remote Parking, Valet Parking etc.)
- Development on vehicle control algorithm from planned trajectory to chassis control interface for series product
- Build up data-driven based development framework to iteratively improve parking performance.
- Cooperation with relevant internal and external algorithm experts mainly in China and Germany for automated parking systems.
- Cooperating between different local and global stakeholders, to ensure technical leading of Plan& Control algorithm in market and meanwhile the compatibility and efficiency to MBOS architecture.
- Collect & Analysis the issues during SW implementation and testing and tracking on the problem progress.
Task Description:
- Develop trajectory planning and vehicle control SW for both prototype and series engineering projects:
- Develop trajectory planning and vehicle motion control SW with cooperating both internal and external partner for highway and urban AD driving system
- Perform simulation and in- vehicle testing and tuning on the performance
- AD prototype testing & evaluation of 3rd party AD technology basd on a PoC level:
- Plan & conduct AD vehicle testing for a step-by-step function integration
- Support external tech company to understand and work with in-house developed trajectory planning/ vehicle control SW module.
- Evaluate external AD system together with the advanced engineering team.
- Project management & collaboration with other external tech companies
- Actively drive & track project progress, connect & synchronize internal & external stakeholders from China and Germany.
- Understand and support the development of the RD China strategy
Education
- Master in vehicle engineering, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Industrial experience in robotics or ADAS/AD software development.
- Development experience on ADAS Parking function(e.g, APA, MPA, RPA etc.).
- Familiar with start-of-the-art planning (A*, EM, Lattice, etc.) and control (MPC, LQR, PID, etc,) algorithms in autonomous driving with development experience.
- Hands on development experience AD platforms (ROS, Autoware, Apollo, etc.)
- Practical knowledge of software engineering on Linux/QNX preferred.
Specific Knowledge
- Proficient in automotive electronics industry systems, processes, standards, and toolchains; have an in-depth understanding and insights into the development trends of automotive products and technologies
- Proficient knowledge on Plan & Control Algorithm
- Proficient knowledge in Parking function Design
- Proficient knowledge in AD SW development process
- Good understanding on overall vehicle E/E architecture
- Good understanding in CP and AP AutoSAR
- Has teamwork spirit, willing to share, able to self-motivate, and influences and leads the team with a positive, hardworking, and optimistic attitude
- Fluent English, German is a plus
