KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Manage Manufacturing Engineering Department to
design and optimize production process, working instruction and shop floor
layout; new product sample make and trial run; set up and maintain production
cycle time in ERP
2.
Apply new manufacturing and testing equipment,
process or technology to improve efficiency and quality
3.
Develop new tooling fixture
4.
Manage First Pass Yield on lines; troubleshooting
of key customer complaint
5.
Lead the global product line transfer or dual assembly
projects to maintain and improve the global quality and efficiency standards
6.
Lead and promote continuous improvement principle & culture in Tianjin
Plant
7.
From identification of waste in Tianjin Plant, via analysis and
development of improvement measures to the actual implementation to achieve waste mitigation
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
1.
10 years of work experience in Operation or Engineering including at
least 3 years as ME /PE supervisor or manager
2.
Bachelor degree of mechanical, electric, electronic or automation is
preferred; familiar with production process management such as welding,
assembly, testing and packing; familiar with ISO system, CAD or PDM software
3.
Successful project management experience such as NPI, new plant or
production line set up, process & layout optimization and production
transfer
4.
Familiar with lean manufacturing concepts and practices such as The
Toyota Production System,5S, Kaizen Workshops etc.
5.
Ability to work in a cross-functional global team environment and forge
cross functional ties and partnerships
6.
Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop
innovative solutions
7.
Well communication in both verbal and written English
