岗位职责:
为供应商管理团队提供现场支持 积极招募新资源,以扩充公司外部语言专家数据库 根据专业技能和公司测试流程对招募的语言专家进行测试
根据公司、部门或项目需求,与招募的语言专家协商优惠价格
将新招募并测试合格的语言专家推荐给相应的制作团队
每日协助制作和销售团队处理与供应商相关的问题
与全球范围内的合同译员、校对员、制作人员和内部质量经理建立并维护良好的关系
与直接主管共同制定策略,寻找提高流程效率的可行方法
根据需要参加行业展会和会议
积极寻求其他任务和职责,以促进TransPerfect Translations的整体发展
研究并了解TransPerfect Translations所面向的所有行业,包括行业领导者、时事动态和任何其他相关数据 精通翻译行业,包括行业领导者、竞争数据、提案格式、竞争价格和市场营销。

Position Summary:
The position of the Vendor Manager is responsible for providing support to the Vendor Management department through daily assistance with linguist recruitment and testing, database maintenance and daily support to sales and production teams with vendor-related issues and questions.
Position responsibilities:
Provide on-the-job support to the Vendor Management team
Proactively recruit new resources to expand the company’s database of external linguists
Test recruited linguists according to specialized skill sets and the company’s testing process
Negotiate preferred rates with recruited linguists according to company, department or project needs
Promote newly recruited and tested linguists to the appropriate production teams
Assist production and sales teams on a daily basis with vendor-related issues and questions
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators, proofreaders, production staff and internal Quality Managers globally
Strategize with direct manager to find a viable means of making processes more efficient
Attend trade shows and conferences as needed
Proactively seek additional tasks and duties to benefit TransPerfect Translations as a whole
Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect Translations markets to, including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data
Be knowledgeable in the translation industry, including leaders, competitive data, proposal formats, competitive rates, and marketing strategies
Essential skills and experience required:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
