Garment Quality Control & Sourcing Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Control professional for the garment industry. The candidate will ensure product quality according to customer requirements, manage inspection processes, maintain communication with customer QC teams (especially USA clients), and support fabric and garment sourcing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Perform garment inspections according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Understand and follow customer requirements, technical packs, and quality manuals.
- Conduct inspections based on AQL standards and follow proper inspection procedures.
- Ensure production meets quality expectations before shipment.
- Monitor production progress and ensure shipments meet customer delivery schedules.
- Prepare and submit inspection reports in English.
Customer Communication
- Communicate effectively with customer QC teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain good relationships with customer quality representatives.
- Provide timely updates to USA team regarding quality status, inspection results, and shipment readiness.
Shipping & Delivery Control
- Track production timelines and ensure on-time shipment according to customer shipping dates.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to avoid delays.
Sourcing Responsibilities
- Source available inventory of fabrics and finished garments based on customer needs.
- Identify reliable suppliers and maintain a sourcing network.
- Support urgent orders by locating ready stock materials or products.
Requirements
- Experience in garment quality control (2+ years preferred).
- Good knowledge of AQL inspection procedures.
- Ability to understand customer specifications and technical documents.
- Basic to good English reading and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate in English with international (USA) teams.
- Experience in preparing inspection reports.
- Knowledge of garment production processes and common defects.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Sourcing experience for fabrics and garments is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international buyers.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with different garment types and fabric quality standards.
