Job Description
(English C1+ level, direct report to foreigner)
Flexible work time, needs to travel domestic and international frequently.
• Develop and implement comprehensive global category strategies in alignment with business needs and long-term objectives.
• Lead the negotiation and management of global contracts and pricing agreements to secure competitive advantages and sustainable supplier relationships.
• Conduct in-depth procurement market analyses to identify new suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and global synergies.
• Collaborate with local procurement teams and engineering to co-create and align category strategies, ensuring consistency and local adaptability.
• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships on a global scale, fostering innovation, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and leverage synergies across production sites and business units to optimize sourcing strategies and procurement efficiency.
• Serve as the central escalation point for critical supply issues (e.g., obsolescence), providing structured, best-practice-based solutions.
• Ensure effective alignment between global procurement strategy and local execution, acting as a key interface and change agent.
• Drive compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including ESG standards and the Code of Conduct, while proactively managing supply chain risks within assigned categories.
Authority to decide
(Authority to grant discount, signature authority, authority according to policies, etc.)
• Strategic Authority: Defines and implements the global category strategy for assigned categories, including supplier selection and sourcing approach.
• Decision-Making Power: Makes decisions on procurement activities and resource allocation within the assigned scope, in line with organizational policies.
• Control & Compliance Oversight: Audits procurement activities across locations, ensures compliance with ESG and internal standards, and initiates corrective actions when needed.
• Escalation & Interface Role: Acts as the escalation point for critical supply issues and ensures alignment between global strategy and local execution.
Requirements
Education
• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Work Experience
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management, with a focus on international sourcing of direct materials (e.g., electronics, sensors, electromechanics).
• Proven success in developing and executing global sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost and process improvements.
Expertise and methodology
(Business knowledge, languages, MS-Office, etc.)
• Strong understanding of global supplier markets, procurement trends, and business dynamics.
• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills, including familiarity with contract law.
• Proficient in MS Office & Power BI; experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Fluent in English (C1+); other language are a plus.

• A self-starter with a proactive mindset, high ownership, and willingness to travel internationally.
Deliverables:
Target
• Improve key procurement KPIs across the Group, focusing on cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Support and drive strategic initiatives assigned to Group Procurement, ensuring timely execution.
• Contribute to annual objectives set for Global Procurement, aligned with business priorities.
• Own and implement category strategies, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement.
Performance Indicators
• Achievement of key procurement KPIs, including cost savings (%), improvement of average payment terms, increased spend coverage with signed Code of Conduct, ESG-rated supplier share (e.g., EcoVadis), supplier delivery and quality performance (SQD, OTO), supplier risk reduction, contract coverage, and completion of supplier audits.
• Execution of strategic priorities, such as SAG tasks and initiatives assigned to Group Procurement.
• Successful delivery of procurement projects, meeting defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
