About the Role
This role is focused on the U.S. international student insurance market. You will leverage the company's existing partnerships with study-abroad agencies (e.g., New Oriental) while using your own U.S. education experience to connect with Chinese student communities. Your goal: drive customer service, channel development, and strategic partnerships with Chinese Student and Scholar Associations (CSSA) across U.S. campuses to support Chinese students with insurance solutions in the U.S.
What You’ll Do
-Support the end-to-end execution of U.S. student insurance services — from client onboarding and needs assessment to solution design and service delivery
-Work with the company’s partner study-abroad agencies to respond to their student clients’ insurance needs and provide professional support
-Reach out to CSSA and student organizations at U.S. universities to build referral partnerships and expand business development channels
-Maintain long-term relationships with domestic and international partners to ensure consistent business growth
What We’re Looking For
-Bachelor’s degree or above, with U.S. study experience required (undergraduate or graduate degree from a U.S. institution)
-Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with strong business communication skills
-Community Connection: Familiar with the Chinese student ecosystem in the U.S.; CSSA or student organization leadership experience preferred
-Strong customer service orientation with patience and empathy for international student clients
-Able to work U.S.-friendly hours — evening availability for calls with East Coast/West Coast time zones
-Proactive, passionate about the international student insurance space, and capable of driving work independently
-Background in insurance, finance, marketing, or related fields
-Experience in student organization leadership, community operations, or social media management
-Basic knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system or international student insurance policies
