Sales Executive
Thermco systems Shanghai is recruiting for a sales executive to support the Chinese market for the sale of its high technology products for sale within the Chinese and Asian Markets.
Thermco Shanghai is a wholly owned division of Thermco systems, A UK registered company that has been involved in the Semiconductor and high technology sector for over 50 years and designs and manufactures, Diffusion systems, Epitaxial systems and Wet Chemical cleaning systems
The Position requires an understanding of the selling of capital equipment, ideally which contains electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and/or vacuum equipment. Ideally, the candidate will be qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or sales background, with at least 3 years’ experience.
The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, good knowledge of Chinese and English both verbal and written, well presented, with great communication skills to be able to relate technical features both to and from the customer. The role will involve travelling frequently to support the customer base.
Responsibilities
• Have a good knowledge of the Chinese semiconductor sector.
• Have a good technical understanding and able to discuss technical features and benefits
• Achieve company growth and sales targets by successfully working with the other company team members
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and future customers through partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Provide sales revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the sales and management team;
• Provide a sales budget with monthly performance reports;
• Provide the management team with updates on competitors and market changes.
• Work with other members of the Thermco group to enhance our Asian Strategy and company profile.
• Review sales and marketing requirements with regards to brochures, advertising, presentations and technical data;
• Update ‘Sales Force software’ and utilise this for advertising and to provide customers with updates on new products, services or technology.
• Meet with existing and promote new customers, to understand their needs and provide suggestions and offer solutions through a strong professional network.
• Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.
Location and Travel
• Located at the Thermco Shanghai Location based in Pudong, Jinji , Shanghai .
• Candidate must have a valid Chinese passport and will be required to travel abroad
• Frequent customer visits are required
• Visits to agents and attendance at Trade shows or exhibitions
• Attendance at various customer and bidding events
Requirements
• A technical qualification in a technical or business-related field
• A good verbal and written understanding of Chinese and English
• Excellent communication sales with the ability to present and influence credibly to customers and all levels of the company
• Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
• A proven sales record ideally for a capital equipment or technology company
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word and Teams)
• Committed to Knowledge expansion through technical workshops, seminars and conferences
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closure
• Ability to negotiate sales tenders and agreements including all commercial, exporting, pricing and legal requirements
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Valid Driving License and Passport
• Valid Passport to apply for a UK Visa or Uk work permit
Reporting
The candidate will recruited, and report to the Chinese General Manager for daily requirements., however as this is an international company. the candidate will report to the Global sales manager for all sales and marketing related activity.
