Lead TCC Workshop Diagnosis & Measure-Tech section, work together with Technician team and cross-functional teams, plan and prepare relevant resources for test vehicle release update, implement vehicle update, conduct issue diagnosing and trouble shooting during retrofit. Set up measurement equipment (ME) strategy, plan, manage and track the usage.
Task Management
• Monitoring vehicle EE retrofit status and progress and making day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, obtaining assistance from supervisor as needed;
• Leading to pre-analysis and solve critical EE issues during retrofit.
• Distributing and balancing workload among employees and assuring timely accomplishment and quality of work;
People Supervision & Team Development
• Assisting Supervisor with daily people supervision tasks including but not limited to recruitment, attendance & leave management and LEAD Goal Agreement, Appraisal, and Feedback process;
• Providing necessary performance coaching and feedback to team members;
• Reporting to Supervisor on performance, progression and training needs of team members and on disciplinary issues;
• Assisting Supervisor on Section Team DES follow-ups and team building topics;
Training and Coaching to Team Members
• Instructing team members in tasks and job techniques and making available written instructions and reference materials and giving training to new team member;
• Improving team know-how, answering questions of team members on procedures, policies, directives, etc.;
Business excellence
• Leading localized carline EE retrofit/EE release update project, draft clear vehicle retrofit plan;
• Prepare the needed hardware, software, logger, coding and vehicle IBN; Ensure correct retrofit implementation with workshop technicians;
• Pre-analysis and diagnosis EE failures, ensure high quality of test vehicle handover;
• Set up process for new tasks and explore solutions for new business (e.g. build up autonomous driving vehicles, Telematics system service activation);
• Lead to pre-analysis test vehicles EE failures (Diagnosis & trouble shooting) during the vehicle development phase;
• Measurement equipment management for all RD department, such as demands collection, purchase planning, resources allocating in a most efficient way;
International collaboration
• Keep regular communication and information exchange with HQ RD experts
• Transfer methodology from HQ .
It must be ensured that all group and location rules/regulations, guidelines and works agreements, etc. that apply for the area of responsibility transferred are complied with or applied. In particular, these include adherence to the relevant compliance rules, safety, work safety and environmental regulations and working hours regulation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in automotive mechatronics or electrical engineering;
• Graduated engineering expert with at least 5 years overall E/E system experience at international automobile OEM;
• Team leading experience is preferred;
• In-depth understanding about vehicle structure and vehicle E/E architecture;
• Vector diagnosis knowledge beneficial (CANoe, CANape, CANalyse);
• Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills;
• High commitment to integrity, self-driven and self-responsible working attitude;
• Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.
