Assistant Manager, Client Accounting Services

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of professional accountants, providing daily guidance, coaching and support to ensure efficient team operations and high-quality service delivery;


Manage client portfolios and nurture strong client relationship by providing professional advice and promoting professional services solutions aligned with client needs;


Monitor the monthly, quarterly and annual cases, ensuring team members complete assignments accurately, in compliance with standards and within agreed timelines;


Meet clients independently to understand their business models, and provide strategic advice on optimal corporate structuring in Asia or internationally from accounting and tax perspectives;


Proactively share and deliver technical updates and knowledge to the team on a frequent basis;


Conduct training for team members on Hong Kong GAAP, annual audit processes and Hong Kong taxation as required;


Supervise, review and quality-control the work of junior staff on client accounting, payroll and compliance assignments;


Be based in Dalian and travel occasionally to Hong Kong for client meetings and professional training.



Requirements:

University graduate in accounting and qualified accountant;


Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with international accounting firm at manager grade;


Strong technical proficiency and solid working knowledge of HKAS and IFRS is a must;


Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate independently with CFO-level clients;


Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting software (MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks) and related regulatory requirements is an advantage;


Fluent in spoken and written English;


Immediate availability is preferred.
