Experience
·
Over 3 years’ experience in R&D or Quality role.
·
Experience of delivering supplier quality assurance process and compliance.
·
Experience of handling the specific quality projects by either onto the continuous improvement or specific product improvement.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
·
Degree / equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mechanism, or Quality etc.
·
Ability to interpret engineering specification.
·
Able to read and write 3D drawings.
·
Able to communicate in English and Chinese (verbal & written).
Scope of Job, Duties & Key Responsibilities
·
Develop the acknowledgement of suppliers onto Eden’s technique and quality requirement, ensuring all requirements are fully understood and met and that supplier quality performance is measured and regularly evaluated.
·
Monitoring of supplier quality performance all through the processing, not limit to the final inspection.
·
Responsible for instructing and monitoring on suppliers’ production are adherence to Eden quality standards, processes and functional inspections.
·
Ensure that all products are produced according to the specifications and relevant drawings required by Eden UK/EU.
·
Support LCC Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to source new suppliers from LCC by providing comprehensive comments onto the production & quality capability.
·
Support LCC Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to complete the tendering by explaining and answer all the technical related question from candidate suppliers.
·
Share LCC shelving/ store fixture market intelligence obtained and maintain joint
directories for current and prospective suppliers.
·
Complete ISIR report as needed
·
Travel and support Eden personnel with supplier visits when required.
·
Ability to travel to domestic vendors in frequent.
Dimensions & Limits of Authority
·
Looking after the overall quality performance throughout the processing in suppliers.
·
Authority to determine the quality result after inspection, verify and approve 8D from suppliers.
·
To be responsible for the quality performance of the LCC suppliers.
Position in Organisation
·
Working in Asia Sourcing, under LCC Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager
·
Liaises with the Engineering, manufacturing departments within Eden UK and Europe Main Purpose of Job
·
To ensure and maintain LCC suppliers have the basic understanding onto the technique and quality requirements.
·
Monitoring the production & processing setup among suppliers, provide the proposals to LCC Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager and Eden EU/UK about the business allocation.
·
Supporting both Eden UK and European Engineer teams, the role will provide the constructive feedback on any of news development, make sure the design can be friendly to mass production.
·
To collect and follow up the required key performance indicators of all suppliers to ensure quality of service and product is maintained at levels required by Eden group.
