In your role you will:
• Customs audit
• 1) As engaged by client, performed routine customs audit and certificate audit according to customs requirement, reviewed import/export activities in audit period and drafted audit report for submission；
• 2) Assisted client in handling customs audit, accompanied client to have meeting with customs to explain client’s position and answer customs queries, performed technical analysis on the questions raised by customs and the potential risks, proposed practical strategies from technical points.
• Import and export business planning for Group Corporation
• According to client’s requirement for import and export business, made tax planning for company restructuring and international transactions, from China customs and VAT compliance perspective.
• Customs technical supporting
• Identified the issues with regard to import/export activities and handbook management in practice, conducted technical analysis on the issues, highlighted the potential risks and recommended the way to improve internal control and management. Assisted client in collecting supporting and negotiating with customs, applied for advantaged solution on the import and export issues.
We are seeking candidates with the following attributes:
• Degree holders in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Law or related disciplines;
• Tax (CTA), Accountancy (CPA, ACCA, etc.), Customs brokerage or trade related qualification should be preferred;
• Minimum 1 full year of customs and trade experience from advisory firms or multinational companies;
• Self-motivated, mature, a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision;
• Good project management skills and strong business sense;
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English;
• Be flexible to travel from time to time.
