We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
- Design and develop platform capabilities that span AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud (Ali) environments, enabling seamless cloud and on-premise AI deployments.
- Lead the design and development of a core platform component—AI Gateway—delivering high-concurrency, low-latency AI gateway services.
- Ensure strict adherence to architectural principles, technical standards, security requirements, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues, ensuring successful, high-quality, and resilient AI services in production.
- Establish best practices for engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, service monitoring, etc., and drive continual improvement of engineering processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, guiding them in building robust, scalable, and maintainable AI software solutions.
Qualifications：
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical lead role focusing on large scale platform projects.
- Proven hands-on experience with AI gateway solutions; deep architectural knowledge of Kong API Gateway and its ecosystem is highly preferred, along with familiarity with platforms such as Portkey-AI, APISIX, or Higress.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud) and advanced enterprise Kubernetes cluster management, including ingress strategies and workload optimization for both stateful and stateless services.
- Expert-level proficiency in Golang and Python, with a strong grasp of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in distributed systems.
- Experience designing high-throughput, asynchronous systems using messaging queues and Pub/Sub technologies.
- Experience implementing Responsible AI controls, data governance, or compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to deliver large-scale, mission-critical platforms from concept to production.
