Position:
Improve competency of the supply base through active engagement insupplier development with key suppliers through supplier assessment process,lean initiatives, training and other means. Drive supplier quality to a higher level through employing applicable quality processes and tools. Develop quality metrics to monitor quality levels, identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
Job Description:
1. Ensure suppliers follow quality processes and products meet all purchaseorder requirements;
2. Ensure suppliers understand and meet packaging & labelingrequirements;
3. Resolve quality issues; initiate and execute supplier improvement plansas needed;
4. Work closely with Sourcing, Engineering, and Quality teams for samplequalification;
5. Assist with supplier assessment program, including annual audit.
Requirement:
1. Bachelor Degree, Minimum of 3 years manufacturing, quality or tooling experience inmanufacturing environment
2. Experience with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, MSA, PPAP,FAI, SPC tools
3. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
4. Creative thinker, able to assess problems and drive effectiveresponses
5. Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,PowerPoint, Excel) and web-based tools
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, both English andMandarin
7. Experienced with ERP software
8. Expertise with problem solving tools such as 5 Why Analysis, 5Phase, 8D, etc.
