Position Overview
A foreign-invested precision mold manufacturer based in Shenzhen is seeking an AI Project Specialist to drive AI initiatives from opportunity identification to deployment and post-implementation review, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvement. The role covers both enterprise office automation and discrete manufacturing scenarios, and requires close cross-functional collaboration with strong project management and ROI discipline.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the full lifecycle of AI projects, including deployment, debugging, trial operation, and post-implementation review; identify cost-reducing AI use cases.
2. Develop phased implementation roadmaps and conduct project management and ROI assessments.
3. Lead the deep integration of AI into enterprise office automation, including ERP, design, and programming API middleware solutions. Enable AI agents to access real-time business information—such as inventory, orders, market quotations, production planning and sorting, email retrieval, and approvals—to advance office automation and intelligence, reduce employee workload, and improve office efficiency.
4. Drive AI adoption in manufacturing, with a clear understanding that manufacturing AI must be integrated with automation. Be familiar with typical AI application scenarios and pain points in discrete manufacturing (e.g., automotive molds, plastic electronics). Quickly analyze basic production-line requirements, implement cost-reducing AI solutions, and prioritize workshop scenarios such as programming AI, design AI, and PMC AI.
5. Deploy existing AI tools and models, and rapidly validate and scale them; self-development from scratch is not a focus.
6. Enhance or automate manual operations in areas such as quality inspection, equipment maintenance, and process optimization.
7. Coordinate end-to-end AI deployment scenarios across all departments. Collaborate with IT, process, quality, equipment, PMC, CNC, design, procurement, market quotation, and finance teams to complete demand research, data preparation, pilot validation, training, and rollout.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficient in English, capable of using it as a working language for daily work and researching international AI resources.
3. Hands-on experience implementing small-scale AI projects; familiar with the basic AI project launch process.
4. 2–5 years of experience in industrial AI, intelligent manufacturing, data analysis, machine vision, predictive maintenance, or related fields.
5. Technical skills: Python; foundational knowledge of machine learning/deep learning, computer vision, time-series data analysis, LLM applications, and RPA; familiarity with MES, ERP, PLC, SCADA, and databases.
6. Manufacturing site experience is preferred; able to communicate cross-functionally; capable of project management, ROI analysis, and training. Cost-conscious and able to prioritize AI projects that reduce enterprise operating expenses.
