Responsibility:
Conduct targeted sourcing of qualified suppliers across key global regions including domestic core manufacturing clusters, Southeast Asia.
Develop and onboard suppliers with cross-border delivery capacity and compliance with international quality standards for packaging equipment components, machined parts, sheet metal fabrications, core electronic control parts and supporting consumables, establish a tiered global qualified supplier pool to fill supply gaps for scarce and critical materials.
Conduct rigorous reviews on supplier credentials, production capacity, technical R&D capability, international certifications (ISO9001, CE, UL, etc.), export qualifications, cross-border delivery reliability, intellectual property compliance and corporate social responsibility systems (EHS, labor standards, etc.).
Complete on-site supplier audits, sample validation and small-batch
cross-border trial orders to select qualified partners.
Execute dedicated sourcing and technical matching for non-standard customized materials and high-value critical components of packaging equipment, collaborate with overseas technical teams to confirm material parameters, processing techniques and precision requirements, bridge cross-regional technical understanding gaps, and ensure sourced materials fully meet requirement.
Manage end-to-end global quotation, price comparison and commercial negotiation for all categories. Continuously reduce overall procurement costs through centralized procurement, long-term framework agreements, global bulk negotiation and qualified alternative material introduction, to achieve the company’s annual cost-saving targets.
Participate in formulating the company’s global material procurement strategies, track and analyze global material market dynamics, supply chain trends and price fluctuation patterns, submit regular market analysis reports and proactive sourcing strategy recommendations, mitigate risks of supply shortages and price hikes, and optimize the global procurement layout for the Asia Pacific and global markets.
Maintain stable and collaborative relationships with global core suppliers, coordinate cross-regional communication and alignment, organize regular online and offline business meetings and technical workshops, synchronize the company’s global production plans and demand changes, negotiate key cooperation terms including cross-border delivery guarantee.
Follow up and drive supplier quality improvement and capacity expansion initiatives, support export-oriented domestic suppliers in optimizing quality control systems and cross-border delivery processes, to align with the global supply rhythm and quality standards of the multinational corporation.
Strictly comply with the company’s global procurement compliance policies, international trade regulations, customs supervision requirements, foreign exchange management rules and international business ethics standards.
Coordinate with cross-regional functional teams worldwide including R&D, manufacturing, quality, project and logistics teams, efficiently align material demands, technical standards and delivery schedules, synchronize sourcing progress and supplier updates, break cross-regional communication barriers and ensure accurate fulfillment of global material requirements.
Complete other ad-hoc global sourcing tasks assigned by the management, such as backup supplier development, global disposal of slow-moving and obsolete materials, and supplier on-site audits etc.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Design & Manufacturing, Automation, Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Procurement Management or related technical fields
Minimum 3 years of solid working experience in sourcing development, strategic procurement or cross-border procurement within the machinery or automation industry.
Familiarity with package machine or ASRS structure, core components and industry supply market is a distinct advantage.
Computer Skills
Good at office software like Excel, PPT;
Strong cross-cultural communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate effectively with global teams and suppliers from different regional backgrounds
