香港中文大学（深圳）是由香港中文大学与深圳大学，根据《中外合作办学条例》而组建的从事高等教育研究的机构。我们创办香港中文大学（深圳）的目的有两个方面，一方面，我们希望移植香港中文大学几十年来成功的办学模式到祖国内地，这里包括优秀的办学理念，成熟的管理机制和严格的学术体系；另一方面，我们希望能为祖国内地包括珠三角地区培养一批有国际视野的，有社会担当的，新一代创新型专业人才。为国家和地区的经济社会发展作出贡献，为国家的高等教育改革作出贡献，也为珠三角和香港地区的长期稳定发展作出贡献。香港中文大学（深圳）实行理事会领导下的校长负责制。民主管理学校，充分尊重学术自由。继承香港中文大学的学术传统，结合传统与现代，融合中国与西方，实行中英双语教学，书院制和通识教学，培养学生的跨领域，跨文化的创新型国际专业人才。CUHK seeks to enhance the well-being of citizens of Hong Kong, China as a whole, and the wider world community through teaching, research and public service.The establishment of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen[CUHK(SZ)] is an initiative to take this further by extending the CUHK core educational philosophy and values beyond Hong Kong, in order to contribute to higher education across the nation and to groom future generations of university graduates who are international in outlook, learned in the disciplines they follow, upright character, and committed to serving the needs of society. It is an endeavour that will have a profound impact on the training of top talents and on the educational reform in China, and to contribute to the long-term prosperity of Shenzhen, Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta(PRD) region.CUHK(SZ) was set up with staunch support from the Shenzhen Municipal Government, and with the participation of Shenzhen University as collaborative partner, as required by the State Regulations for Sino-foreign Co-operation in Running Schools.CUHK Degrees will be conferred on CUHK(SZ) students who have fulfilled the requirements of the respective academic programmes. In addition, Graduation Certificates will also be awarded to students who have completed their studies and met the graduation requirements stipulated by the State Ministry of Education(MoE).
