Sourcing Engineer

Core responsibilities：
- Proactively develop and expand qualified raw material suppliers in line with product development strategies, and systematically build, update, and maintain a robust supplier resource database.
- Conduct in-depth market intelligence to track raw material price trends, efficacy advancements, and industry dynamics; leverage professional expertise to negotiate strategically with suppliers, securing optimal pricing and favorable terms.
- Formulate and execute structured supply plans to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant delivery of raw materials and formulas to meet business needs.
- Implement a systematic supplier management framework: conduct rigorous performance evaluations, efficacy testing, and screening of new raw materials; perform regular audits and site inspections to uphold quality, compliance, and reliability standards.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize market data to provide data-driven insights that support strategic sourcing decisions and company-wide business planning.
Qualification Requirements：
Typical Education Level ：
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science/engineering discipline.
Relevant experience, knowledge and skills：
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably within the chemical, manufacturing, or related industry;
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier development, data-driven negotiation, and structured supplier performance management.
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; a high degree of accountability, integrity, and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to effectively engage with global suppliers and stakeholders.
