We are currently seeking a Medical Technologist II to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Medical Technologist II at ICON, you will play a critical role in performing complex laboratory tests and analyses to support clinical research initiatives, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data that contribute to the development of innovative therapies. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and compliance.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Performing a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols, regulatory guidelines, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Overseeing the preparation and processing of biological samples while ensuring proper documentation and quality control measures are followed.
• Providing training and mentorship to junior laboratory staff, promoting best practices in laboratory techniques and safety.
• Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot laboratory-related issues and support clinical trial operations.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and regulatory standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail in data analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all laboratory activities.
