Job Overview
MICE specialists are professionals who assist clients in planning, contracting, organizing, and executing various events. They act as the primary point of contact, providing personalized end-to-end solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of events and great quality of relationships with clients.
As a MICE Sales professional, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of MICE events. This role requires a deep understanding of the event management industry and a strong ability to translate client requirements into exceptional event solutions.
Key Responsibilities
>Identify and prospect potential clients within the MICE industry.
>Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
>Conduct detailed needs assessments and provide tailored MICE solutions.
>Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.
>Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
>Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
>Prepare and present proposals and presentations to clients.
>Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues.
>Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
>Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
>Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
>Responds to group RFPs through making proposals and sales presentation to prospective clients as well as explain, negotiate and close hotel sales.
>Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries.
We Are Looking for a Person With:
>Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
>Proven track record in sales, preferably within the MICE industry.
>Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
>Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
>Ability to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.
>Highly organized with strong project management skills.
>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
>Positive attitude and good communication skills
>Strong sales background in MICE. Self-motivated salesperson.
>Strong analytical skills to understand and respond to key business indicators and competitive trends
