北京京东方光电科技有限公司是京东方科技集团股份有限公司所属子公司，位于北京经济技术开发区京东方显示科技园，注册资本5.5亿美元，总投资额13.39亿美元。作为北京市国资委下属的中国显示领域龙头企业，京东方光电是目前中国大陆唯一掌握TFT-LCD（薄膜晶体管显示器件）核心技术的公司。 公司现有员工4177人，其中韩籍专家109人，博士26人，硕士189人，学士600人。目前液晶显示屏生产能力为1300万片/年，国内排名第一，全球排名第九。2007年—2008年京东方科技集团被评为“中国最具价值品牌五百强”、“亚洲品牌500强”、“全球IT百强企业”等荣誉称号。

Beijing BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (BOEOT), under BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. (BOE), is located in the BOE DTP of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, with registered capital of 550 million USD, and a total investment of 1.3 billion USD. As a leading company of the Chinese display industry, subordinate to SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), BOEOT is the largest and solely listed corporation on China mainland, commanding the core technology of TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display).
