上海东方明珠（集团）股份有限公司下属上海东方明珠国际交流有限公司，携手美国AEG和NBA中国，合资组建的――东方明珠安舒茨文化体育发展（上海）有限公司。

AEG-OPG Culture and Sports (Shanghai) Company Limited is ajoint venture of Shanghai Oriental Pearl International Communications CompanyLimited (a 100% subsidiary company under Shanghai Oriental Pearl (Group)Company Limited) and NAAV (a joint venture of AEG and NBA China).

梅赛德斯奔驰文化中心建筑面积16万平方米，是一个集综合演艺、艺术展示、时尚娱乐于一体的综合性文化娱乐聚集区。它拥有一个可以容纳18000座、多功能的大型演艺场馆，具有上海首个满足NBA赛事要求的标准场地、首个满足国际冰上赛事及冰上表演的标准场地，同时设有音乐俱乐部、电影院、溜冰场、景观餐厅，以及近2万平方米的商业零售、文化休闲娱乐区。

It has a floor area of 160,000 m2, and will become acomprehensive entertainment and culture center with all kinds of eventspresented in it, including international live performances, sports and artshows. With a capacity of 18,000 seats, it is also the first multi-functionalarena in Shanghai that has a standard court qualified for NBA games,international ice hockey games and ice shows. In addition, SWEPAC has a musicclub, a six-screen cinema, a public ice skating rink, several restaurants withsplendid views and nearly 20,000 m2 retail and entertainment spaces.

通过东方明珠与AEG/NBA的合作，梅赛德斯奔驰文化中心将被打造成一个世界顶级的文化、娱乐、体育中心，高质量的现场娱乐活动举办地，将成为上海娱乐、体育以及其他文化休闲、家庭活动的聚集点。
