Your Role: Own the Challenge/Take on the Journey
● ICS Security Protection
- Design security architecture and protection strategies for Industrial Control Systems (ICS), PLC, and other OT environments.
- Deploy and manage industrial firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.
- Ensure the security of industrial protocols (e.g. UA, Profinite) to prevent protocol abuse attacks.
- Configure and manage commercial switches (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, HPE) and industrial switches (e.g., Huawei, Westeros), implementing VLAN segmentation, port security, and other network isolation measures.
- Harden enterprise servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), including privilege management, log auditing, patch management, and antivirus deployment.
● ICS Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and security audits for ICS to identify critical infrastructure risks.
● Security Architecture & Implementation
- Support OT/IT convergence projects, ensuring secure cross-domain data transmission (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA).
- Optimize network device configurations (e.g., switches, routers) with security policies (e.g., SSH instead of Telnet, disabling unused services), traffic monitoring, and centralized log management.
- Develop server security baselines for OS, databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and middleware compliance.
● Security Awareness & Training
- Deliver ICS security training for plant operators and engineers.
- Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and compliance materials in English.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
●
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
●
3+ years of ICS/OT security experience, with knowledge of PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, etc.
●
Familiarity with ICS security standards (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82) and attack vectors (e.g., Stuxnet-style attacks).
●
Hands-on experience with ICS security tools (e.g., Wireshark for industrial protocols, Timbalero, Dragos).
●
Proficiency in configuring commercial switches (Cisco/Huawei) and servers (Windows/Linux), including network segmentation, access control, and system hardening.
●
Fluency in English in reading/writing and oral.
