Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.
This role is contributing to the EL smart power business in Xiamen China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
● Material Planning: Establish long terms material planning strategy and process to meet hub business target, run short terms material planning process to support profitable execution of daily customer order, and delivery on time, coordinate and provide appropriate response to unplanned events
● Purchasing: Identify and manage long lead‑time risk materials, and break bottlenecks in advance through cross‑departmental collaboration; ensure timely material acquisition and on‑time order delivery, coordinate with suppliers on invoices and quality issues.
● Inventory Management: Own the inventory and NWC checkbook of local unit, establish and maintain inventory management process including raw material, WIP, and FG in line with business unit instructions, driving inventory optimization project in site.
● Supplier base management: Obtain best supplier performance by establish supplier management framework, KPI, and process, evaluate performance and train supplier termly in order that supplier has sustainable capability to support our long terms business requirement.
● Continuous improvement: Lead/ contribute cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on time delivery, lead time, inventory and resource utilization.
● Tools: Provide leadership for the development of best practice in planning system and ERP,lead the team to embrace the use of digital tools and improve team work efficiency.
● People Lead ship and development: Lead material planning team, and ensure team is proper organized, staffed, skilled and directed, and guide, motivate and develop subordinates.
Qualifications for the role
● Bachelor and above degree, professional knowledge in material planning, purchasing and inventory management
● Good data analysis ability, high sensitivity to find the issue and analyze the root cause, identify potential risk and find solution
● Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing level, has some financial knowledge.
● Use office software like excel, PowerPoint, power BI professionally, be skilled in SAP is preferred
● At least 3 years material planning and purchasing management experience in foreign owned company
● Ever used lean sigma or other equivalent theory to lead optimization task
● Open minded and active in communication, accountable and can bear stress.
● Teamwork, are willing to change and have the influence on team change
