Job Description
Laboratory Technician is a position giving supports to laboratory-/experiential learning courses including but not limit to prepare materials before and after the undergraduate/postgraduate lab courses. He/she will be required to support laboratory safety management and training, daily maintenance of laboratory, and operation of equipment including small devices (such as PCR, electrophoresis apparatus, spectrophotometer, air quality testing equipment etc.) to major modeling and analytical tools (such as CAD, GIS, HPLC, ICP, GC/MS, FTIR, and GIS) as well as the instruments relevant to energy, engineering, and material science etc. Other job duties may be included participating in some other academic activities such as research-driven teaching activities, co-curricular activities such as give training to students in competition, field study, and any other teaching support works.

Job Requirements
-Candidates should have a master’s degree in either one of the following disciplines: green energy and Physics, environmental science and engineering, biological science (e.g., Biotechnology and Microbiology etc.), material science (e.g., nanomaterials), or GIS and remote sensing.
-Good command in English is an advantage.
-Good communication skill, team spirit, and motivation; AI skill is an advantage.
-The candidate needs to work in normal working hour; however, working in outdoor, irregular hours and weekends may be required occasionally.
