Liangmaqiao, Chaoyang District, our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our overseas clients.
As part of our strategic expansion, we are entering the overseas engineering project sector, currently focusing on petrochemical engineering projects. We are seeking an
experienced professional to lead this new business initiative and drive its
growth.
Job Summary
We are looking for an International Engineering Business & Project Coordinator (at Manager or Supervisor level) with a strong background in commercial coordination and engineering project support, preferably in petrochemical or industrial sectors.
In this role, you will act as a dual-phase business and project liaison:
Phase 1 (Pre-EPC contract signing):
Represent the Company as a strategic partner to Chinese EPC contractors. Jointly explore overseas project opportunities, support EPC contractors in commercial negotiation with overseas project owners, and help secure EPC contracts.
Phase 2 (Post-EPC contract signing):
Transition into a role as a subcontractor to the EPC contractor, ensuring the smooth supply of products (e.g., equipment, materials) to the overseas project owner in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with Chinese EPC contractors as a strategic partner to identify and pursue overseas engineering projects (primarily petrochemical).
2. Assist EPC contractors in commercial negotiations with overseas project owners, including contract terms, scope of supply, and commercial conditions.
3. Analyze overseas owner project specifications and match them with appropriate domestic resources and EPC capabilities.
4. Support the preparation of commercial proposals and bid documents in coordination with EPC partners.
5. After the EPC contract is signed, act as the Company’s representative to coordinate product supply to the EPC contractor, ensuring timely delivery, technical compliance, and quality standards.
6. Translate technical and commercial requirements between overseas owners, EPC contractors, and internal/external supply chain partners.
7. Monitor project execution and coordinate with suppliers to meet overseas owner needs as conveyed through the EPC contractor.
8. Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable domestic equipment manufacturers and suppliers that meet petrochemical project requirements.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential EPC partners and suppliers to ensure reliable project support.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and capabilities of domestic engineering and equipment providers.
11. Conduct short-term overseas business trips as needed to meet with owners and EPC partners, understand project requirements, and support business development.
12. Work closely with internal teams to align business strategies with company objectives and owner needs.
Qualifications
1. Education & Experience
1.1 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical, or Project Management preferred).
1.2 5–10 years of work experience in international engineering project coordination, commercial negotiation, or technical sourcing roles.
1.3 Experience working with EPC contractors, overseas project owners, or in petrochemical/oil & gas sectors is highly preferred.
2. Commercial & Technical Knowledge
2.1 Understanding of EPC project models and the commercial structure of international engineering contracts.
2.2 Familiarity with equipment and materials used in petrochemical or industrial projects is a strong advantage.
2.3 Basic knowledge of supplier evaluation, procurement processes, and supply chain coordination.
3. Skills & Competencies
3.1 Strong analytical and research skills to assess project requirements and supplier capabilities.
3.2 Excellent commercial negotiation and communication skills to interface with EPC contractors and overseas owners.
3.3 Ability to work independently and take ownership of both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities.
3.4 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Language
4.1 Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for effective communication with international owners and EPC partners.
4.2 Mandarin Chinese (native or professional proficiency).
