Job Title: Partner Marketing Manager (All-Round Marketing Generalist)
Location: Beijing, China (with occasional overseas travel)
Reports To: VP, Partner Ecosystem

Our go-to-market strategy for overseas markets is partner-first – we work through established in-country partners (resellers, system integrators, tech alliances). We need a marketing professional who can bridge our product team and our international partners, enabling them to sell, market, and implement our software effectively.
The Role
You will be the marketing engine for our partner ecosystem. Instead of running ads or cold outbound campaigns, you will focus on making our partners successful – providing them with world-class marketing collateral & training materials in English, and co-marketing support. You are equally comfortable writing a technical integration guide for a partner’s engineer, creating a co-branded webinar deck, and updating our partner portal. You might need to travel overseas occasionally to meet partners, conduct workshops, and attend joint events.
Critical Requirement:
1. Native or near-native English proficiency (written & spoken) – you will communicate daily with overseas partners and the product team.
2. Technical Fluency – understand software application lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Marketing & Enablement (Primary Focus – 50%) Build and maintain the partner portal – a one-stop shop for all marketing assets (case studies, battle cards, demo scripts, datasheets, API docs, co-branded templates). Create partner-ready marketing collateral: pitch decks, email templates, social media kits, and landing page copy that partners can localize and use. Run monthly partner webinars (in English) to train partners on new features, messaging, and competitive positioning. Support co-marketing activities with partners: joint webinars, case studies, newsletter features, and event sponsorships. Respond to partner requests for custom assets (e.g., a one-pager for a specific vertical or a technical FAQ).
2. Product & Technical Marketing (30%) Translate our software’s technical capabilities into benefit-driven messaging that partners can sell against. Write and maintain technical marketing content – API integration guides, SDK tutorials, “Getting Started” docs – to help partners’ delivery teams implement our software quickly. Work with product management to create release-ready marketing summaries (what’s new, why it matters, how partners can pitch it).
3. General Marketing & Digital Presence (20%) Manage the company website – ensure it reflects current partner offerings, success stories, and a “Become a Partner” page. Maintain social media (Wechat, LinkedIn, X) with a partner-focused content strategy – celebrating partner wins, sharing joint content, and engaging with partner posts. Help the VP with internal reporting: track partner marketing activity metrics (collateral usage, webinar attendance, co-marketing ROI).
4. Other “Startup” Duties (As needed).
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
1. Experience: 2-5 years in B2B marketing, ideally with a partner/channel marketing component. Startup or SaaS experience strongly preferred.
2. Language Proficiency: Fluent English (C1 Level). You can write a polished partner email, present a webinar in clear English, and explain technical concepts without jargon. Fluent Chinese for internal communications with various supporting teams.
3. Technical Fluency: Comfortable with software terminology – APIs, SDKs, cloud infrastructure, authentication methods. You don’t code, but you can read a basic API doc.
4. Location & Travel: Based in Beijing and willing to travel overseas (e.g., Southeast Asia, Europe, US) as needed. Valid passport.
5. Self-Starter: You will not have a large team. You build the playbook.
Nice-to-Haves
1. Experience with Webflow or similar tool for website creation and management.
2. Experience with customer or partner relationship management (CRM or PRM) tools.
3. Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics (to track company website & partner portal usages).
4. Existing relationships with software partners.
