Summary
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is an experienced individual contributor responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical subsystems for complex medical robotic capital equipment. This role requires strong mechanical fundamentals, hands‑on execution skills, and the ability to work effectively within a regulated medical device environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer who works well in cross‑functional teams, executes designs from concept through production, and communicates effectively with global partners. Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin are required to support close collaboration with international R&D, manufacturing, and supplier partners.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Design & Development
- Design and develop mechanical subsystems for robotic capital equipment, including structures, mechanisms, actuation components, and thermal solutions.
- Execute mechanical designs from concept through production under established system‑level architecture.
- Create and refine 3D models, detailed drawings, and specifications using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Perform mechanical analyses such as tolerance stack‑ups, basic FEA, and GD&T to support design performance and reliability.
Manufacturing & Cost Support
- Support DFM/DFA efforts in collaboration with manufacturing, suppliers, and senior engineers to enable robust and repeatable production.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through material selection, design simplification, and manufacturing process awareness.
- Assist with supplier interactions, tooling reviews, and manufacturing readiness activities.
System Integration & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Electrical, Software, Systems, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support effective electromechanical integration.
- Participate in system‑level discussions as a mechanical contributor, ensuring designs meet interface and performance requirements.
- Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective actions related to mechanical issues.
Regulatory & Quality (Medical Device)
- Generate and maintain mechanical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and design inputs/outputs for the DHF.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEAs, and verification and validation activities within an ISO 13485 / FDA design controls environment.
- Support regulatory submissions and audits by providing mechanical documentation and technical input.
Communication & Global Collaboration
- Communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams, manufacturing partners, and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Present mechanical concepts, design changes, and technical data clearly through spoken and written English and Mandarin
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development within robotics, medical, or other highly regulated devices, minimum 3 years within medical devices.
- Hands‑on experience designing components or subsystems for complex electromechanical products.
- Working knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD and mechanical analysis tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to execute designs with moderate supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotic systems, precision mechanisms, or capital equipment.
- Familiarity with injection molding, sheet metal, or machined components.
- Exposure to regulated product development processes and design controls.
- Basic understanding of electronics packaging or thermal considerations.

概述
高级机械工程师是经验丰富的个人贡献者岗位，负责复杂医疗机器人资本设备机械子系统的设计、开发与集成。
该岗位要求具备扎实的机械工程基础、较强的动手执行能力，以及在受监管的医疗器械环境中高效工作的能力。

关键职责
机械设计与开发
·
负责机器人资本设备机械子系统的设计与开发，包括结构、机构、驱动部件及热管理解决方案。

在既定系统级架构下，执行从概念到量产的机械设计工作。
·
使用 CAD 工具（如 SolidWorks）创建并优化 3D 模型、详细图纸和技术规范。
·
开展公差叠加、基础 FEA 以及 GD&T 等机械分析，以支持设计性能和可靠性。
制造与成本支持
·
与制造、供应商及高级工程师协作，支持 DFM/DFA 工作，以实现稳健且可重复的生产。
·
通过材料选择、设计简化和制造工艺意识，参与降本工作。
·
协助供应商沟通、工装评审以及制造就绪性相关活动。
系统集成与跨职能协作
·
与电子、软件、系统、质量和制造工程团队紧密合作，支持高效的机电集成。
·
作为机械方向贡献者参与系统级讨论，确保设计满足接口和性能要求。
·
支持与机械问题相关的故障排查、失效分析和纠正措施。
法规与质量（医疗器械）
·
编制并维护机械文档，包括图纸、规范以及 DHF 的设计输入/输出文件。
·
在 ISO 13485 / FDA 设计控制环境下，参与设计评审、DFMEA 以及验证与确认活动。
·
通过提供机械文档和技术输入，支持法规申报和审核。
沟通与全球协作
·
与跨职能团队、制造合作伙伴和供应商进行清晰沟通。
·
能够通过中英文口头和书面方式清晰表达机械概念、设计变更和技术数据。
任职要求
·
机械工程或相关技术专业学士或硕士学位。
·
5 年以上机器人、医疗器械或其他高监管设备领域的机械设计和产品开发经验，其中至少 3 年为医疗器械领域经验。
·
具备复杂机电产品部件或子系统设计的实操经验。
·
具备 DFM/DFA 原则和制造工艺的工作知识。
·
熟练使用 3D CAD 和机械分析工具。
·
具备较强的问题解决能力，能够在适度监督下完成设计执行。
优先条件
·
有机器人系统、精密机构或资本设备相关经验者优先。
·
熟悉注塑、钣金或机加工零件者优先。
·
接触过受监管产品开发流程和设计控制者优先。
对电子封装或热设计有基础理解者优先。
