We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced colleague to join our team in Chengdu China
Position Overview:
The person will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products offered by Sam Partner A/S meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of product compliance, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product compliance documentation, including test reports, certificates, and regulatory submissions.
Product Testing and Certification: Coordinate product testing procedures to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with third-party testing labs and certification bodies to obtain necessary certifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their products meet our compliance standards.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for new and existing products to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Audit and Inspection Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits and inspections related to product compliance. Address findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to internal teams on product compliance requirements, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in product compliance within a wholesale or retail environment.
Proven experience with product regulation in EU and preferable Scandinavia, e.g. GPSR, FSC, EUDR, REACH etc.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (especially Toys), including but not limited to safety, labeling, and environmental requirements.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
