主要工作职责Main Responsibilities:
Classroom & Student Support
Support science teachers during lessons, practical investigations, demonstrations, and laboratory activities.
Assist with classroom management and help maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
Provide small-group or individual student support during lessons under teacher guidance.
Support students in developing scientific skills, organization, and independent learning habits.
Assist students with practical procedures, equipment use, and laboratory routines.
Supervise students during practical work, transitions, and designated learning periods when required.
Support students with diverse learning needs, including EAL and learning support students where appropriate.
Laboratory & Resource Support
Support the preparation of laboratory equipment, chemicals, models, and materials for lessons.
Assist the Science Lab Technician to organize, label, clean, and store science equipment and resources appropriately.
Assist with stock checks and inventory management.
Help maintain science classrooms, prep rooms, and laboratories in an organized and safe condition.
Support the setup and cleanup of practical activities and experiments.
Assist with maintaining displays, learning walls, and student work exhibitions within the department.
Health & Safety
Support the implementation of school and laboratory safety procedures.
Ensure equipment is handled safely and stored correctly.
Monitor safe student behavior during practical activities.
Report damaged equipment, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.
Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
Administrative Support
Assist teachers with photocopying, printing, preparation of learning materials, and organization of resources.
Support data entry, attendance follow-up, and basic administrative tasks as directed.
Help organize science related campus events and activities.
Support departmental organization and communication when needed
招聘要求Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, science or related field preferred ；
2. Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred ；Experience working in a school setting preferred ；
3. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)

Ability to follow safety procedures carefully and consistently.

Interest in Science education and student learning.
