• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with good English
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing or Quality Control for high volume manufacturing products at international OEM partners
• Experience with any of the following: mechanical enclosures, Chemical Etching, injection molding, tooling, stamping, jigs, fixtures, or high volume manufacturing quality
• Has passion to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment, must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Has deep knowledge on quality management system structure, quality procedures, and the application of typical quality tools (e.g. MSA, FACA, SPC) and troubleshooting modes and driving corrective actions
• Knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations, strong technical skills, i.e. problem solving, issue root causing, analytical skills
• Be familiar with GD&T and have rich experience to apply the knowledges in actual work
• Strong data analysis ability and Statistics Concept Expertise (Design of Experiments, ANOVA, Multi-Vari), able to utilise data analysis tools to discover the clues of inherence of data
• Has professional project management skill and a deep understanding of problem-solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical tools
• Develop metrology on new product, conduct supply chain spec alignment, correlation activities.
• Drive Failure analysis, corrective action implementation plan, and yield bridge to mass production. Influence designs so that they are manufacturable.
• Review supplier’s quality control flow, in-process quality control system, in-coming components and out-going product’s quality control plan
• Collaborate with multiple function teams, Engineering, Operations, and Quality as well as various suppliers during the new products builds at OEM supplier and final assemble sites.
Key deliverables will include:
• Partner with cross functional teams to evaluate process robustness at the concept phase
• Develop Measurement technologies for Evaluation, Quality Plans, Reliability Test Plan, Cosmetic Inspection Criteria
• Assist in implementing corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members
• Provide support to the team in the area of leading suppliers by providing technical and quality requirements to establish and validate (utilizing statistical tools) process capability, incoming, in-process and outgoing quality control to the company’s standards in meeting innovative product designs as well as test and quality requirements
• Utilize DOE, FMEA, CTQs, FMEA and other Industry-standard tools to proactively identify and address product and process risks and mitigate or improve with suppliers
• Provide assistance during cross-functional stage-gate review in each of new production introduction phases, including support in the area of key sub-tier supplier capability, process and line readiness, quality control plan, reliability test plan, test coverage, test setup, limits, Gauge R&R, Correlations to ensure end-to-end quality coverage
• Establish audit procedures appropriate to program and supplier to ensure adherence quality standards
• Help the team to ensure parts shipped per Quality/Product Design/Industrial Design requirement on both dimensional and cosmetic for each engineering build
• Monitor each supplier's performance through measurement of production line statistics, company inspections, and audits. Prepare summary of performance and communicate to appropriate management.
